Triplet Loupe is the simplest tool of optic control of knife sharpening. A loupe gives the ability to identify and correct sharpening mistakes in real-time. LED lighting makes the work very comfortable. Lens diameter - 25mm. Real magnification - approximately 10x (40x according to the product passport).

This is the lowest tier of the Aliexpress bargain bin. Flimsy, sharp edges, poor optical quality. Went directly to the bin. Use a magnifier app on your phone instead.

Nice little loupe for inspecting knife blade edges. I've been using a loupe for many years when sharpening my knives. But mine wasn't illuminated, so I had to stand at the proper angle to a light source to see the knife edge. The led light on this one allows me to stay at the sharpening bench while I check my progress. It's been a handy addition to my sharpening tools. The little two pronged screwdriver to open the battery compartment is an odd feature. If it's lost, opening the compartment to change batteries will be tricky. A coin slot would make more sense. I taped mine inside the loupe frame with scotch tape so I'd always know where it is. Handy loupe worth the low price!

I already had a 10X loupe, which I use frequently. This one is a 40X and gives me a visual confirmation of how well (or not) my sharpening is progressing. Great price!

Once you figure out your eye relief it works well. The light is nice to have and makes seeing your edges easier. For the price it's a win! There's probably better options out there.
